All conference participants must register, including speakers, exhibitors, parents, caregivers, and children. In the event that the topic you choose is full, we will contact you for an alternate selection. If you do not wish to register online, you may send a check with your registration selections to Kim Bradlee, Registrar, 30 Valleyview Farm Rd., Bradford, MA 01835. Deadlines and Refunds
Register early to ensure your first choices and to take advantage of a $10 early-bird discount for registrations received by March 3. All registrations received after March 28 must include a $15 late fee. Please note that some sessions fill up quickly and registering early will ensure you are able to register for your first choices.
A full refund less $25 administrative fee will be made for written requests received by March 24. A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made for written requests received between March 25 and March 31, 2017. No refunds will be given for meals after March 24. While on-site registration is not encouraged, a limited number of spaces may be available. A fee of $25 will be added for on-site registrations. No lunch will be available and session choices may be limited.
We encourage you to register online to expedite the registration process. If you wish to register by mail, please make checks payable to “LLL of MA/RI/VT.”
If you do pay by check and it is returned for insufficient funds, you must pay the full amount, plus a $25 processing fee, by cash or a certified check to complete registration. If you wish to receive confirmation of your registration, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your registration form or provide a valid e-mail address.
LLL Leader and Member registration prices require that you are current with 2017 dues. If you are not a current LLL member, you can purchase a new or renewal LLL of MA/RI/VT membership with your conference registration. Membership purchases support both the local Group and the LLL of MA/RI/VT Area.
We offer registration packages that include meals, and registration-only options for Saturday.

Communication Skills Workshop
This year we are offering the full day Communication Skills Workshop on Friday, April 7 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. During this workshop we will learn about attending behavior, body language, identifying feelings, and reasons for feelings. Discover how to make summary statements, ask and answer questions, and impart information. We will discuss how to compose “I” messages, set limits, and do problem solving.
Free to Leaders and Leader Applicants, $25 LLL members and their spouses, $50 all others.
We will be taking photographs during the event. By registering for the event, you grant to La Leche League and Black Dog Pictures the right to take photographs of you, your guests, and minor children in connection with the 2017 La Leche League of MA/RI/VT Area Conference. You authorize La Leche League and Black Dog Pictures, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use, and publish the same in print and/or electronically. You agree that La Leche League of MA/RI/VT and Black Dog Pictures may use such photographs of you and your family with or without your name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.

New Leader Recognition
Area Leaders who have been accredited between April 2016 and April 2017 will be honored with a special candlelight ceremony during the Opening on Saturday morning. Please join us to congratulate our new Leaders.
Leader Anniversary Awards
Leaders who have reached a 5-year milestone since the last conference will receive anniversary pins at a special ceremony Sunday. Come celebrate the many years of experience we have in our Area. If you have been a Leader more than five years and did not get a pin on your last anniversary, you can pick one up from the ACL at the conference.
Volunteers are always needed to help during the conference. If you, your partner, or your teenager would like to donate some time during the conference, we would welcome your participation. If you check the volunteer box on the registration form, instructions will be placed in your registration folder. Volunteering at the conference does not impact your ability to participate fully in all conference activities.
Monitors are needed in each session to assist the speaker with handouts, get water, and start the session on time. If you would like to be a monitor in a session you are registered for, please check the box on the registration form where indicated. Monitor instructions will be in your registration packet on the day of the conference.

A limited number of rooms are reserved at this rate for conference attendees. For hotel reservations call (978) 934-6920 and ask for In-house Reservations. Please say that you are with La Leche League to take advantage of this rate. You may also make reservations online directly with UML.
Reservations must be made no later than 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 to receive this rate.
Overnight rooms include complimentary parking for one vehicle. For attendees who are not spending the night at the Inn, there is a parking garage adjacent to the hotel. If you enter the parking garage from the venue parking lot and not the street side, there may be a limited amount of free parking. Once this is full, guests will have to pay for parking on the city side.
